Once you're on level 2, you're just mostly waiting for ages.
I agree with @NaviLife. The mushrooms upgrades can't be tier 10 produces 10. It needs some small amount of increase like, tier 10 produces 30 mushrooms.
It's an interesting game, but the numbers have not been considered properly.
There needs to be a way to earn more genetic points. Even at max level it will take an hour and a half to reach Enlargement level 3, 2 months to reach level 4 and 160 years to reach level 5.
I suggest that every 10 Research Center levels earns a multiplicative x2 Genetic Point growth rate. Or the mushroom farm also has a way to generate Genetic Points. Or both.
Also, the scrolling on the mushroom farm should be fixed. It is very jerky.
Edit: There is no level 4, so no need for a 2 month or 160 year wait.
A difference is there is a map allow player build many cheap lv.1 gatherer, so I restrict the gather-speed and the balance is bit hard to design. I will try to adjust the values more suitable.

Need more research center upgrades, maxing out at level 5 means it is going to take a loooong time to get to the next enlargement...
updated, now research center has special level limit 100
this game sucks. if you have exponential upgrades you need exponential gains, its a core aspect of idle games
